PM Internship Scheme 2025: The registration deadline for Round 2 of the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS) pilot phase has been extended to April 15, 2025. The selection and shortlisting process for certain internship roles has already begun as of April 1, 2025. To ensure that all interested candidates have ample opportunity, the government has extended the application window for remaining internship positions under the PMIS.
Candidates with educational qualifications as basic as a 10th standard pass are eligible to apply for various internship opportunities through the official website- pminternship.mca.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria For PM Internship 2025
Age: Applicants must be between 21 and 24 years old (as of the application deadline).
Education: Candidates with a high school diploma, diploma, or degrees such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BCA, etc., can apply. Those enrolled in online or distance learning programs are also eligible.
Income: The family’s annual income (from self, spouse, or parents) should not exceed Rs. 8 lakh.
Job Status: Applicants must not be employed full-time or enrolled in full-time education.
Internship Duration: The program lasts for one year (12 months), making it an excellent opportunity for individuals who are not currently employed or studying full-time.
PM Internship Scheme 2025: Stipend And Benefits
Monthly Stipend: Interns will receive a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month for the entire 12-month period.
One-time Grant: A one-time grant of Rs 6,000 will be credited directly to interns’ accounts upon joining.
Insurance Coverage: Interns will be covered under government-provided insurance schemes.
The PM Internship Scheme offers young people a chance to gain hands-on experience with some of India’s top 500 companies. There is no application fee for the PMIS 2025.
