Upcoming episodes of ITV soap Emmerdale will see sex abuser Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day) murdered, and fans have seemingly worked out who will be responsible.
This week, Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) received the results of her DNA test which confirmed Caleb Miligan (William Ash) isn’t the father of daughter Steph (Georgia Jay).
To Ruby’s horror, she realised that meant Anthony is Steph’s dad, after the evil man sexually abused Ruby when she was a child.
The beloved character confronted Anthony in yesterday’s instalment, who denied her accusations at first and simply claimed they had a close relationship when she was younger.
While this was happening, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) and Caleb were working out the truth about who Steph’s dad is.

The scenes have set us up for next week’s episodes, which will see Anthony die.
One of the suspects will turn out to be Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller). After he witnesses a tense conversation happening between Ruby and Anthony, Aaron is reminded of his past with Gordon – his biological father who sexually abused him.
Also on the list of potential suspects will be Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), Ruby herself, Caleb, Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) and Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy). As speculation among fans continues, many are wondering if the real killer will hide in plain sight during the aftermath.
And who might that person be?
John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth).

Taking to social media platform X, one audience member wondered: ‘Don’t worry, secret serial killer, John Sugden finds out and murders Anthony next week. Perhaps, one day, we might find out where he’s buried Nate’s body, too…’
The point about Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) relates to the character’s sudden exit towards the end of last year. Due to the fact we never saw Nate leave the village, a theory is still circulating that he may have been murdered by John.
‘THEORY – John killed Aidan and Nate’, a user of X said.
Echoing this, another fan wrote: ’I hope John is a serial killer (that he is related to Nate’s disappearance) or he met Robert in prison and is an imposter.’
Discussing Aaron’s discovery about Ruby and Anthony, star Danny Miller told us: ‘He is instantly aggressive and destined for revenge, for Ruby, of course, but he sees his chance to level with Gordon who took “the cowards way out” as Aaron calls it – killing himself in prison.

‘He sees an opportunity to hand over Gordon (in Anthony) to the police – who will then serve his sentence in prison and give Ruby the justice she a) deserves and b) never had the chance of having himself.’

‘I think it’s pure disgust and dread as to how he’ll deal with this and bringing back so many evil and dark memories for Aaron that he’d suppressed for so many years.’
But will Aaron really end up killing Anthony? Danny thinks there’s a very high possibility.
‘Having experienced the same abuse and disgusting acts and never really got the justice he deserved or that Gordon deserved – the motive is there in plain sight!’
