    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

    The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    I know there is a way to write a long story without it timing out, anyone care to share, tried searching previous threads but couldn't find it. Know ive seen it though.

    Write it on your desktop in a regular word program, when it's done just copy & paste it to the site.

    Keep in mind that if you use MS Word, you will need to hit the "enter" key about 3 times in between paragraphs (3 blank lines instead of the normal 2) to keep your paragraphs from running together once the story is published. The formatting from Word does not transfer over when you copy and paste, so some people use different word processing software. I use Word exclusively, so there are a few tricks you need to do to keep the formatting readable once it gets published.

    1. triple space between paragraphs instead of just double spacing so your paragraphs do not run together

    2. italics and bold do not transfer over, so if you want those in your story you will need to use the formatting tools built into the story submission form after you have pasted the story into the submission box

    3. I have no idea if first line indentions carry over from Word or not

    I work with Word and even trying double indentations makes no difference.

    While this "trick" works for me, I have had others say that tapping the "enter" key a few extra times doesn't always work for them either. I've tried "fixes" that other writers have recommended for Word and some of them work for me and some of them don't. It looks like each person has to play around with the copy and paste and formatting in whatever program they are using until they find something that works for them. The triple hit of the "enter" key between paragraphs works for some but doesn't seem to work for all those using Word. *shrugs* Alas, it's an imperfect system and we are just visitors and contributors to the imperfections.
